3rd annual pumpkin patch trip

Well, the tradition continues. We headed out to the Orr Family farms this weekend. The weather was nice and mommy was feeling good. It was our first trip out as a family of 4! I have to say that it all went well! Hudson is such a good baby--we are beyond blessed! Here are the photos!

Isn't this so sweet? Let me just tell you what an amazing husband/father Chris is. He has been a HUGE help, even though his schedule can be hectic! I LOVE watching him with the kids, and there is nothing he'd rather do on a Saturday than spend it with his family! We love you daddy.

We had another wonderful year at the Orr Family Farms and can't wait to go back next year. I have a feeling it will be a little more difficult once Hudson doesn't sleep in his stroller the entire time!!!

New Pictures!

So I followed Hudson around with a camera today, I feel that I have not been able to take many pictures. So here we go.

First a picture of the big sister eating cookies! She is such a great big sister and has been doing so good. Just a little needy at times for attention.

I love that I fixed his hair yesterday after his bath and it stayed all day yesterday and today. We are doing well. Getting little sleep of course but each day is one day closer to sleeping through the night, right??? Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Mommy checking in

Hello to everyone. We are home! YEA! We are really doing well, just adjusting back to the no sleep routine that newborns bring! However, thankfully we have a good eater on our hands so that has decreased some of the stress we had with Daisy(in fact Hudson lost weight only his first day---from 7lbs 8oz to 6lbs 13oz, and then he never lost any more, which his pediatrician said is very uncommon! YEA Hudson) Here are some pictures to update you--they are not in order and I cannot use what little energy I have to rearrange them, so here we go.

Just in case there was any doubt. Could they look anymore alike? Who knew the Goff gene was so dominant?

Hair twins for sure. Chris is so excited about this! He is already fearing the hair loss!

Visitors! We had so many great visitors at the hospital. Here is a cute photos of the Powitzkys. Baby Sara was NOT happy when her mommy and daddy were holding Hudson! She did so well when it was her turn, she will make a great big sister one day!

Daisy meeting her brother for the first time. She was excited to hold him, but the excitement quickly wore off. She said he was 'very heavy', and kept asking why we were holding him, why he couldn't lie down in his bed? Everyday she has gotten more and more excited. She brought toys up to the hospital to play with, she has helped change his diapers. She has been SUPER hyper excited! She was able to bring a picture to school of her and Hudson and tell all her friends!

LOVE daisy's expression here. She is seriously so excited. Daddy and Daisy went to the mall yesterday and they built a monkey for Hudson that has daisy's voice recorded and says, " I love you Hudson"---so sweet! She brought it up to the hospital to give him as a present. She is really doing well so far adjusting!

Packing up the car with a family of 4! Pretty difficult when mommy really cannot help!! This will take some getting used to!

Nana! How we could not survive without her. She has been so super helpful to Daisy, mommy, around the house, with food....etc, etc. If you don't have a Nana you should get you one!

"Hudson's" gift to Daisy. A doll house with a family of 4. (Nana really bought her this, but it has worked out great!) She loves it!

This week has been a whirlwind. As I am sure you picked up on, I was lucky enough to go into labor AND have a C-section! Things happened so fast I'm like, did that really happen???? I am going to tell you women who do things all natural----I have NO IDEA how you do it! I was 6cm dilated with contractions every 2 minutes and I thought--there is no way I am going to make it! Thankfully we got our act together and Hudson arrived safely and mommy is relatively all intact this time around! Everyday I really feel better and better. We will be updating more soon!
