Vacation

Daddy was on vacation last week and we had such a good time with him. We spent some time in Joplin, because we are not sure what his schedule will be like come Christmas. So prepare yourself for photo overload!!!

At Nana's house Daisy found this rocking chair, almost her size. She LOVED it. We pulled it from room to room with us! The funny thing is my grandparents brought over a little doll and a rocking chair and Daisy actually FIT into the dolls rocking chair! Hilarious, I wish I had gotten a photo!
Daisy's reaction!
We did end up with one good picture, but you will have to wait for your Christmas card for that one!
Mommy and Daisy in our Christmas PJ's, which I will now call jingle jammies (thank you old navy). How cute is that?
Daisy is enjoying all the winter accessories, she likes to try on Mommy's scarf all the time!
Day two we headed back to the mall, but this time for a little carnival fun!

Daisy LOVES to swing at the park, so naturally we thought she would enjoy this swing ride.....
wrong again! We had to stop the ride so she could get off!
While we were in town we opened Christmas gifts. I know I have mentioned Daisy's obsession with the vacuum cleaner....well now she has her very OWN! Thank you Grammy and Grandpa.
I love how serious she is about it
Grandpa and Daisy with their vacuums!
Daisy also really enjoyed this outfit, she kept trying to wrap the pants around her neck like a scarf!!!
Such a cute picture of Daisy and Grandpa!
I promise Chris was with us this weekend, he just took most of the pictures! We are getting excited for Christmas and hope that everyone is taking some time to enjoy it themselves. I can't believe next year will be 2010!!!!

Thanksgiving!

This year was our first time to host thanksgiving dinner! We were so excited to have everyone here in Oklahoma to celebrate! Daisy had so much fun having everyone around! Thanks to our family for making the trip!

It has turned cold then warm and now back to cold! Here is Daisy sporting some winter accessories! Note the new boots!

After stuffing our faces we all headed to the park on thanksgiving. It was so beautiful around here! We took full advantage of it!

Fun with uncle Jimmy!
Talking to Papa!

We are all decorated for Christmas around here. Now to finish my shopping! Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!

Fall

Here are some pictures of us at the zoo. It was Halloween and no one was there. It was so nice outside and so fun to have the zoo to ourselves!

Chris was trying to capture the pretty trees in our neighborhood.
Daisy practicing for her senior pictures. This is the light post in our yard. LOVE having the extra light around.
Daisy had her first picture day at school. I am excited to see how they turned out. Silly me, I didn't dress her right. I was thinking school pictures, oh they sit you in a wicker chair---forgetting that was MY SCHOOL pictures from the '80's and I guess now they do a variety of poses and backgrounds? Daisy always looks cute, but I wish I had dressed her a little more girly! That is all from here. Love keeping up with every one's blogs that is how I still feel like I am apart of every one's daily lives! Keep up the posting!

Henry's Party

We had such a great time celebrating Henry's birthday! Here are some pics from the round-up!

I love Henry's expression in this pic below!
Our little cowgirl.
The daddy's and the kiddo's.
Our dear friends!
Daisy had to show Henry how the car works since she has a pink one of her own! He was so nice to share his new toys!
The ball play gym, Daisy loved it, but had a hard time getting in and out because of her dress!
Sadly this is the only picture we got of Henry's cake. Jess made it! She continually impresses me with her talents! She used fondant icing and everything! It was awesome!

Henry shared his birthday cake with Daisy. These pictures don't really grasp all that was happening. Henry had cake EVERYWHERE! and Daisy (being the lady that she is) simply picked at the cake with one finger! Classic differences between boys and girls!

We miss our friends a lot and can't wait to see them again! Thanks for having us at the party. It was a blast!

In other news. Daisy really started to walk this weekend. We have taken some video and will post it soon! She will only take about 4-5 steps at a time, but she is getting braver every day even walking from toy to toy instead of crawling! I can't believe she is getting so big!

Finally, I leave you with one last photo. I received my H1N1 vaccine this past week. I'm not going to mention any names, but a very new doctor gave me this injection and this is how it turned out. I have been assured that it has nothing to do with the person giving the shot, it was just a reaction to the vaccine itself. Funny thing is, I have been getting shots for 28 years now and this is the first one I remember whelping up? Hmmmm........

Happy Birthday Henry

Hey Henry....just wanted to say Happy Birthday. I know you are in Texas and don't get to see me often, so I thought I would remind you of the time we have spent together to remind you of how fabulous I am and how I am so worth moving back to Oklahoma for.....

Here we are the first time we met. You might have slept through it, but I am sure it meant as much to you as it did to me!I am the first girl you ever held hands with
My fingers are YUMMY....
And most importantly we smile when we are together(and so do our parents).

See you soon! I'll be the one in the pink cowgirl boots!

Daisy first Halloween party!

Last night Daisy attended Jackson's first annual Halloween party. We all had such a good time. The adults were encouraged to dress up, however, sad to report only a few did! Chris and I had been trying to decide on costumes for a long time and we were very excited with the results! Here are some pictures!

Dara and Evan(monkey, but he wont keep his hat on so he just sports the tail-adorable!)
The host Jackson(puppy)--how cute is his outfit?
And Daisy found her an OU football player-Gabe.
Aren't they adorable?
Daisy and Mommy!

The family picture: So if you can't tell, I am the "cheer mom" and Chris is the "cheer dad". Let's talk about our outfits: Cheer mom includes pink velor track suit, pink "cheer mom loud & proud" t-shirt, very expensive heart jewelry, LARGE diamond ring, and designer white sunglasses. "Cheer dad" includes "Who's your cheer daddy?" T-shirt, very tight/short polyester coaches shorts, fashionable socks, fanny pack, 'dad' camera, slicked over hair and of course an authentic mustache. Daisy's cheering outfit was accessorized by an OU tatoo on her cheek, nike shoes, and adorable hairbows made by one of the ladies in my arthritis class at work!

I wished we had gotten a few more pictures, Danielle was a puppy along with Jackson and Craig was snoop dog. There was a fisherman and a goldfish, star trek, black eyed peas, a lion, a princess, a beauty queen, and a beautiful witch! We had such a good time and cant wait for next year!

October

I cannot believe this month is gone. Luckily we have been able to squeeze a lot into it since Daddy was home so much. We are sad that he is starting a different rotation this weekend. We have LOVED having him around. Here are some pictures, we will recap the month in reverse order:
Nana was here earlier in the week. Daisy had a good time. She threw her first 'two year old' fit as we were leaving Target. She did NOT want to leave. I didn't know what to do? So I just carried out a screaming child while everyone stared! Yikes! Here are some pictures of Nana pulling Daisy around the house in her wagon. This is not a riding wagon, although Daisy has turned it into one.

Our friends Scott and Melinda came to town for a short visit. Daisy LOVES Scott! She was so funny about it! That night we also watched Jackson. I'm not sure he had a very good time, but it was fun to see Daisy and Jackson together! (sorry no pictures)
Grammy and Grandpa were here for a weekend. We went to the zoo among other things and had a blast! She loves her grandparents.
The Cromwells were in town and we were able to track them down for breakfast one morning. Luke and Daisy had a great time playing. I wish we lived closer so our kids could play all the time!

Daddy had a birthday, happy 29! and this is us all dressed up ready to go eat steak.
Mommy, Daisy and Aunt T all wore white sweaters over purple-ish shirts! It was so funny! We all looked cute of course!

Yesterday was not the best of days for us. We woke up at 5 am to rain not only outside but inside our house!!!!! Rain was POURING into our front window all over our computer, printer, desk, etc. What do you do with rain like that? Get a bucket? I was in such disbelief I just stood there as if in shock! Luckily nothing is ruined and we have everything dried up! Now we just need to get our window fixed! Gotta love OLD houses! We are looking forward to Halloween! Can't wait to post pictures of our costumes! Hope everyone has a safe and healthy Halloween!
