Babies......all babies, baby dolls and real babies. Here she is hugging her favorite baby at the moment, baby Sara! problem is, Sara is about to be bigger than Daisy! So cute!

Sponge bob shoes......note to self and to all those mom's out there.....never accept a hand-me-down that you don't intend on being their favorite! Cousin Lilly gave us these shoes and I thought, "they will be perfect for the pool, play etc" Pretty sure we wore them to church the other day! Not only are they bright yellow but they have a big sponge bob face on them! Daisy did take the eyes off and she tells me every day "sponge bob shoes broken". I do love that she is showing her preferences, I have always really loved it when you can see children that have dressed themselves, I think it is so cute!

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July. Our neighborhood does a parade, picnic, inflatable games and other games for the kids! Our block decided to participate this year! Here are some pictures!

Here is our float! Perhaps a little explanation? The pine trees around here are all dying and our neighborhood park is being seriously affected. One of our neighbors, his mother is head of the landscaping and she has been very concerned, so we decided to craft our float around this.....

The kids looked adorable! They had antenna and balloon eyeballs and wings! Some of the kids dressed like trees. We threw candy and waved our flags. We even had a donation bucket for money to go towards replacing the trees. It was fun. However, we had to keep Daisy and Gracie entertained with the M&M's and suckers that we were supposed to be tossing to the onlookers!
We didn't win first place, Tiger Woods Roofing company did......((Our neighborhood was hit hard by the recent storms, thus, roofing companies have invaded and this was popular theme among the floats. However, this block cleverly incorporated Tiger Woods---please zoom in to see the slogan))

Last week Daisy had Hawaiian day at day care. Here she is all dressed up and ready to hula!

Summer time!

Well, to state the obvious it has been HOT outside. However, we have made the most of it with daisy's pool, our wonderful neighbors, and the sprinkler! I am so excited to be cutting back to two days of work again starting in the middle of July!!! I love the summer and I am excited to be able to spend more time with Daisy again, apart from running errands.

Daisy is such a hoot these days. She just started saying "I love you Mommy" and "I love you Daddy" this week! I can't tell you how sweet it is to hear her say that! She has quite the vocabulary now and says new things daily. She of course still LOVES her baby dolls and to dance.

Happy Fathers Day to our wonderful daddy and husband! Daisy and I bought Chris a seat for his bicycle that Daisy can ride in! Let me just say they have GREATLY improved these things since I rode behind my dad on his bike! Here is daisy riding her bicycle! She is SOOOOO excited and Chris is SOOOOO excited. The two of them crack me up. Daisy has wanted a bicycle for a long time, but we have not been able to find one she fits on, and she is too little to have the motor skill to ride it, but this is PERFECT! Every night since the bike came home we have been riding. Today we even rode to breakfast and Chris and Daisy rode to a lunch party we had(while I took the car). The two of them could not be happier and I LOVE watching that! Plus it has been a fun family activity for us all to enjoy!

Last weekend we headed back to the lake, Daisy enjoyed the boat this time! We were so happy. But she was not brave enough to sit on the jet ski with daddy! Maybe next time.

Last night we had a neighborhood going away party for our friends the Guess'. They move next week to Montana! We are excited for them, but will miss them. We had such a great time at the park, here are some photos:

We are blessed to have such a fun neighborhood. In other news the fixing of the house is underway and my car goes into the shop next week! Let's pray for no more storms!

RAIN!

So, it is raining.....a lot......still coming down......over 8 inches so far!!!!! Here are some pictures from this morning!

Here is our new friend (turtle in middle of road--huge turtle), unfortunately he didn't make it upstream, he was quickly washed away as you can see from pictures below!

Luckily for us, for some reason Chris was parked in the driveway and me on the street (which we moved uphill), otherwise I have a feeling his car would have floated away!!! Craziness!!!!

7 years......

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful hubby! I can't believe how fast time flies!
I love you so much!

(I am sitting here waiting to go to work, watching it rain and flood, water is almost up to the base of my doors of my car, all the highways around here are closed! Oklahoma has to be having some kind of record year for extreme weather!)

I know it has been awhile. Nana and Uncle Steven were here for a visit, then Daisy was sick (allergies?), then we went to the lake, and then I worked everyday last week! We are just now catching up! Trying to spend as much time with Daddy while we have him before craziness begins July 1st!
