Birthday Party and so much more....

Last weekend we had a big birthday bash!!! We decided to combine Daisy's and Hudson's parties this year, mainly because of family AND the fact that Hudson nor Daisy seemed to mind! ONE party is plenty to plan!!! So we had a bug and butterfly birthday party in the park. Here is a photo recap.

We opened some present the night before with Nana and Papa Jim. Hudson was SUPER excited with his new Tricycle!!! Can you tell?

 

 We woke up to drizzle Saturday morning, but that didn't stop us!!! I am so thankful it worked out!

 Although Uncle Steven thought my Vegan cake tasted like play dough, Hudson LOVED it!

 He got to drive!!! He is so much like his daddy it is scary!!!!

That night we took Daisy to Disney on ice!!!! SO SO SO FUN!!!!

This picture cracks me up. We waited in line to take a photo in the Lego Cinderella carriage and I bumped her head getting in and she cried and cried and cried.....so we got an awesome photo!!!

 We cannot believe she is 4!!!!!!!! Hudson will be one next week! We cannot believe it! We are so thankful for our wonderful children and know that we are tremendously blessed!

SUMMER 2012 RECAP

So, my little pink camera has been missing, but we found it and all the photos from this summer. So here is a quick recap....

 One weekend the kids and I were in Joplin and there was a big Concert event with Jeremy Camp....so after Hudson was asleep I took Daisy and Lilly. We rode the rides.....

I love my kiddos!!!

It is true. I really love my kids. They make me smile everyday!!! Here are some recent photos!

Daisy is SUPER girly......i REALLY LOVE it. She is so funny. She has been wanting me to curl her hair a lot with the curling iron. So we found these curlers at walmart the other day.....just like my mom used to use (well, first she used to use socks)

 Pretty sure she said, WOW, my hair looks AWESOME!!!

 Chris and Daisy went to a daddy/daughter dance at church!!! SO SO SO FUN. She still talks about it.

 Guess who is 10 months old???? H man is!!! His top two teeth are officially poked through and our happy baby has returned!!!! We are so thankful for this!!!

 Please look at how his feet are hooked together. He sits like this ALL the time. There are so many sweet things about him, just like this. For instance. If there is a pillow on the floor he will crawl up to it lay his head down and suck his thumb. Even if he isn't tired!!! IT is like he just has to try it out. Funny!!! Especially since he doesn't have any pillows in his bed!!!

 Oh man. He is a messy eater......he often needs a bath after he eats. We eat spaghetti a lot since it is one of the safe things he can eat right now!!!

Like I said, I love my kids!!!!

9 months

This update is a little late. But here are some recent photos:

Hudson has really been eating LOTS lately. Here he his eating spaghetti of the first time! Always  a good photo opportuntiy! Here is a photo of Daisy at 10 months! (I just love comparing photos of these two) LOVE THEM BOTH!!!!

 His 9 month photo shoot. I meant to take more photos later that day, he got a haircut after these pictures were taken, but obviously I forgot! He is looking so much older suddenly. His top right tooth finally broke through so I am guessing the left will be in any day!!! He is a super fast crawler and will put anything and everything in his mouth. He keeps us busy!

In other news we were extremely protected this weekend. Our house was broken into in the middle of the night while Chris was asleep. Breaking glass/window crossbars woke him up. Thankfully the alarm scared them off and all they took was our computer, but left behind a mess of course. And the police were here within 5 minutes!!! Thankfully the kids and I were in Joplin. There are so so so many ways this scenario could have been worse and we are so very thankful for the safety of our family!!!!!

Random

Just some random pictures from the past few days. We went to the lake last weekend. Daisy gave grandpa a book for fathers day called, "how to babysit a grandpa" it was cute!

 Hudson has lost interest in baby food. Do you blame him??? Who wants to eat mushed up food all the time. He still only has his two bottom teeth, so finding him things to eat has been challenging, but I have figured out he can pretty much gum anything!!! Today we had spaghetti (well elbow macaroni noodles with red sauce). It was a hit!

 I chopped my hair off this week. I have been growing it since I was pregnant with Hudson!!! I was beyond ready to cut it!!!!! I have to say all those prenatal vitamins helped, this is my third time to donate my hair and this was definitely the most I have donated!

 After spaghetti lunch we had some fun playing. Daisy loves to dress Hudson up. Funny thing is I did the same thing to my brothers!!! She may look like her daddy but she acts just like me!!!

 This is a random picture from Easter. Our friends gave us their photos. Daisy seriously cracked us up that day. If you could see everyone else they were all in long sleeves. Daisy was wearing her swimsuit and high heel dress up shoes to hunt eggs! This is still a common thing around our house. She is actually in a swimsuit as I type, but at least it is 100 degrees out today!!!

Hudson is 9 months tomorrow! Cant believe it! In other news, Chris officially became an upper level resident this week. What that means to us is no more primary call nights. He will be on back up call!!! YEA!!! and.......only 2 years left!!! I feel like I can see the light at the end.....it may be just a flicker but at least I can see it!!!!! WE are so happy and proud of our daddy/hubby!

8 Months!
