Missouri Christmas

We were lucky to be able to spend last weekend with our families in Missouri celebrating Christmas. It was a fast trip, but so much fun! Daisy really enjoyed presents this year!

Daisy saw this car with Grammy and Grandpa one day at the mall, she just kept saying, WOW, that is so neat. WOW, that is so cool.......now she has her very own!

This is Daisy's 'CHEESE' smile. It is impossible to get a good picture with her eyes open. Please note the face in all the following shots!

She is getting so big! These pictures of her riding the Tricycle really showed me how big she is!

When we got home there was a package from Auntie with lots of great presents. This one is a dog, "jingle" who speaks while you read the story!!!! It is really neat! Daisy LOVES it!

We had such a great time. Thanks to our families for doing Christmas early. We celebrated Christmas yesterday, (Christmas EVE) as a family. I will post pictures later. We also took some really cute videos! Merry Christmas to everyone!

Thanksgiving and beyond

We were so fortunate to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Bratchers and the Powitzkys. We are so blessed with wonderful friends. (and as an extra bonus Uncle Steven was here to celebrate with us).
Funny Story: While the adults were eating Thanksgiving lunch the girls (Gracie and daisy) were playing. They were being really good and then someone decided to check on them and this is what we found!

They unwrapped all the presents under the tree and they were undressing themselves to put on the new PJ's!!! So sneaky! No wonder they were being so 'good'~!
My mom accidentally started the tradition of buying us PJ's for Christmas and letting us open them every thanksgiving! So I thought I would carry on the tradition and buy matching PJ's for Sara, Gracie and Daisy. Here are the girls after they finally got all dressed! So cute!
Daisy and baby Sara....although they are almost the same size!
Last weekend we took Daisy to see Santa. Here we are waiting in line. Isn't she so cute.
Again, not sure about Santa this year. We did give him a high five and tell him that we wanted 'Barbies' for Christmas, but she would not get any closer than this.....
Another photo of Daisy being silly. She put on 'daddy's shirt' all by herself and was so proud!
I am in the process of getting out Christmas cards......they might be new years cards by the time I get them out! Sorry!!! Hope everyone is doing well!

First Haircut!

Okay, so I know that this sounds really silly, but I have been putting this "FIRST" off for a REALLY long time. I just LOVE Daisy's long hair! I LOVE that she has hair to fix into a pony tail and pig tails and braids etc...., but the day finally came that it was getting TOO long! So........

Afterwards we had our nails painted. She selected pink and glitter for her two polishes! LOVE it! And they let you keep the polish!!!

I know these pictures mean absolutely nothing to anyone else, but it was a big day for us!!!(and they only trimmed her hair, but they took about an inch off!!) We went to this wonderful place called Snipits. It is an all kids haircut place. (They also have birthday parties--I cannot wait until daisy is old enough.....they fix each girls hair up in a glitter up-do, they paint their nails, then they get to dress up and have a fashion show on the red carpet!!! How cute is that?) Anyway...I highly recommend it for haircuts for your kiddos, they have movies, suckers, and prizes, mini-manicures, so fun!

In other news we got our Christmas lights up today!!! I can't believe it is already time for lights!!! Next comes the tree and then I need to get shopping! Thanksgiving first!!!!! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!!!

FUN DAY!

WARNING: PICTURE OVERLOAD!

So the pictures I didn't take at Daisy's birthday I am making up for today! We had such a wonderful day. We went back to Orr Family Farms this year, so Chris suggested I put some old photo's up from last year to compare! Enjoy!

We are so blessed by good friends and were so happy to go with the Bratchers to the farm and meet up with the Powitzkys while we were there!

LOVE the flying pigtails in this one!

The slide was a new addition from last year. I am still not sure who had more fun Chris or Daisy?

I have to say the pumpkin patch was a little picked over this year, but Daisy still found the perfect one!

Trick or Treating! Lets just say that our neighborhood is really into trick or treating! Which was super fun! Lots of families out front having parties! I have to say the girls were a big hit in their costume! I am not even biased, but they are so adorable! Here are some pictures!

We made it down one side of one block. Pretty good considering that at our second stop a man dressed as a skeleton (dinosaur as Daisy calls it) hissed in the girls' face and scared them to death. Then it took convincing to get Daisy to walk up each driveway telling her, "it's not scary the scary man went away".....some people!

After trick or treating we had dinner with some other friends in the neighborhood. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful place to call home! What a fun day!
