Splash Park

Coming from a smaller town, we do not have splash parks. Let me tell you, they are the greatest ever! They had big and small fountains that start small and get bigger, water sprayers for the big kids and buckets that dump. Fun for all ages and best of all FREE!! Daisy had her first splash park experience this week with her neighborhood play group friends. She loved watching the other kids and didn't mind the cold water (of course it helps that it has been really hot outside). I can't wait to take her back. Here are some pictures:

Also here are some very cute pictures of Daisy and her "new" bathtub....the kitchen sink! I love that her hair is long enough for me to fix with the shampoo!!!

I have been taking some hilarious video's lately, but I will need Daddy's help to load them and edit them! She is so adorable and we are having so much fun lately! Hope everyone is doing well!

Hot outside!

It has been VERY hot here! Daisy and I have been trying to beat the heat. So I got my haircut! I love it. Here are some very bad self portraits. My friends Stacy is the best at self portraits in the mirror, I just couldn't get it to work.! Here is the best I could do:

You can kindof see some of our house in the background! I need to post pictures soon!

At first I tried to take a picture of Daisy and me together, but as you can see that didn't work too well either!
I love how she is looking at me in this picture!

Yesterday we made a make-shift swimming pool out of our bathtub on the back patio...(we are no longer using the tub, because we are bathing her in the kitchen sink!) Daisy had such a good time. She is just like her mommy and loves the water! Here are some pictures:

July 4th

Well, for those of you who know me, 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. This year was a little different, because no fireworks for us! We can't stay up that late....well, one of us can't!!! Daisy had a great time at our neighborhood parade and looked adorable in her festive outfit. In addition Grammy and Grandpa came to visit, so we had a wonderful weekend! Here are the latest pictures!

Daisy is started to pull up on things, she is so active and you cannot turn your head for a second! Here she is attempting her new favorite activity on a stool.

Pigtails are great, except after nap it makes the hair a little messy. It was so hilarious the other day. This is how we found her in her room after nap....she was happy at first and then just plain ready to get out!

Here is our little cutie in her 4th of July outfit and her fireworks hair!

June

June went by so fast. I can't really even believe it! That is how it always goes with the summer. Here are some things we have been doing besides unpacking the house!

We went to see Great Grandma Helen a couple of weekends ago. Daisy has only met her once. She had such a good time! She loved Hunter, Helen's dog! Please note the adorable outfit. One of the therapist at work has a 2 year old little girl and they have been giving me all of Olivia's old clothes! They are adorable. This dress has two giraffes on the front with giraffe buttons! SO CUTE!

This is still one of Daisy's favorite things to do, chew on noses. Now that she has teeth it can really hurt!

We were able to spend some time with cousin Lilly and Aunt Jessica also. Here we are hanging out in Grandpa's very warm pool!

The cousin's and their boats!

Daisy's hair is long enough for another new hairstyle, pigtails! It is so cute! I hope you can see them in this picture. She has become so active lately, constantly moving around and trying to pull up! It seems like she is growing exponentially fast these past few weeks. Grammy found Daisy these really cute green crocs! Love them!
Daddy has officially started as Dr. Daddy. We are so proud! The grandparents are coming to visit this weekend and see our new house. I am still struggling to get it all in order. Hopefully after this weekend we will be set! Hope everyone is doing well.
