We caught our mouse!!!!

Sorry if this is offensive to anyone but I am so happy to report that we woke up this morning to a mouse in one of our traps!!!!!! A mouse, hopefully just one, has been residing in our new home since we moved in and this past Monday evening he took a little look around in my purse!!!!! NOT JOKING! Chris and I heard something in the other room and found my purse moving---that's weird......so I throw a pen at my purse and out jumps the mouse!!!!! That night we set out some traps and last night we caught him!!! Now our dogs can return to our home without stress! I have to say it is nice to be able to walk around your house barefoot again!

The past 4 weeks!

Sooooo very much has happened in the last month, and I am sorry for not blogging sooner. Here is the cliff notes version of our past few weeks, in reverse order:

When I picked up Daisy from daycare yesterday the teacher said, "look who's here Daisy, do you want to show mommy your mustache!". Yes, Daisy made a father's day present yesterday with blue paint and it is ALL OVER her. Tummy, shoulders, arms, hands, and yes FACE. I don't think these pictures really do it justice....I am not sure how long it takes for blue paint to fade, but I will let you know. I hope this is one fabulous Fathers day gift!

This past weekend Daisy had her first swimming experience. Both sets of grandparents were able to enjoy the fun. Not only is Daisy wearing SPF 85 but we brought out the umbrella just in case!!!

Daisy really loved the pool! But it helps that the water was 90 degrees!
My mom, Daisy and I threw my best friend from Joplin a baby shower. She is expecting a baby girl, Evelyn in September! I am so excited for her.

Daddy became Dr. Daddy a couple weekends ago! We are so proud of him. It was sad to say goodbye to all our Med school friends spread out from New York, to Texas, to California! We are going to miss you all!

Of course the grandparents were here that weekend to help us celebrate!

We also had our first trip to the lake. Daisy helped her daddy drive the boat and fell asleep! It was hilarious. We have some pictures, but I can't seem to find them right now. But here she is in her stylish life jacket!
Daisy started Daycare!!!! It has been a good experience so far with just a few minor bumps and adjustments. This is Daisy ready for her first day!
Bath time has become so fun!!! Daisy has discovered how to splash. Please note the mirror and my T-shirt!

Stu and Jen came to visit us and Daisy LOVED them both. She can't wait to go visit them in Texas sometime!
In other news Daisy turned 9 months old this week. She is now 15lbs 14oz (5%), 27 1/2"long(50%) and her head circumference is in the 75%! Got to love the Goff genes! She started to army crawl a couple of weeks ago and we have some video I will post soon! We have moved!!! It is a crazy mess right now, but we have everything out of the old house! We are excited to be closer to work for both of us and Daisy seems to be adjusting fine, however our boys are slightly unnerved....we have a mouse!!!!! Anyone have a cat they want to loan us for a week? We will post pictures of the house as soon as we get enough boxes cleared to see everything. I hope everyone is well !!!!
