Big News....

Daisy has her first tooth!!!! Last week when we were at the pediatrician's office she told us that Daisy was working on her bottom two teeth. Chris and I could not tell, but we did have a terrible week last week (daisy sick and fussy) and guess what? Today Daddy found a tooth!!! Thanks to the dental hygienist living with us it is tooth #p (that is bottom right for those of us who don't know teeth). It has just broke the surface. I cant believe she is getting teeth! If only she would learn to eat solids! Just wanted to let everyone know!

Pictures... a lot of them!

Well a lot has gone on the past few weeks, here are some pictures!

Match Day was a big event last week. We had a reveal party at noon and then an after party at the Skirvin Hotel that evening. It was a fun filled day!

Here is the family. Suni (and Baby Savage #2), Adam, Chris and Me. We left the other two kiddo's with their grandparents! Thanks to Nana for coming to watch Daisy even though she was sick!
This is the wives club. So sad to see most of them moving away, but we are happy for them and wish them the best! (3 of the ladies are expecting babies in the late summer/early fall!---no definitely not me!)
Chris and his med school buds.
Daisy's favorite past time! She LOVES her exersaucer!

These next pictures are a little old, but I just never posted them. Henry and Jess came to visit a few weeks ago and here are the pictures we took. Daisy looks un-amused in this first picture.
Daisy loves her hands so much she thought Henry should try them. I think he agrees that they are delicious!
Daisy LOVES Henry. I think he is still unimpressed.
Our happy girl has returned. Now that she is feeling better she is happy again. Thank goodness. It was a pretty rough week with shots, sick baby, match day. I am glad it is all over with!

Ethan has been teaching Daisy so much. Here he is reading to Daisy his basketball book. Daisy loves playing with Ethan.
She has even found a new love of basketball?
Again her favorite place--the exersaucer. I know these pictures are going to make more people tell me that I need to cut her hair, but I am stubborn and I am just not going to do it yet!
You might have to enlarge this picture to see it. Ethan is trying to brush Daisy's teeth, except she doesn't have any!
Grammy and Grandpa came to visit last weekend also (before Daisy was sick). She had a fantastic time with them.

Last Sunday we dropped Daisy off at the Church nursery for the first time! I have to say it was a great experience. The nursery lady was so surprised how much Daisy LOVED the exersaucer. She said that Daisy would have stayed in there the entire time, but they thought she needed a break. Daisy actually started crying when we picked her up! She was exhausted! This is her after church in her cute little spring dress!

This is us Sunday afternoon having a moment on the couch. We love this little girl so much!

Well, now we are trying to figure out the next few years. Me working? Daisy daycare? Moving closer to school? We will keep you posted as we figure it out. For now we are taking it one week at a time.

Oklahoma for another 5 years!

Well, it has been a really big week. As most of you know by now we have matched here in Oklahoma, which has made a lot of people happy. It is so nice just to know. Now Chris and I can move on with our plans for the next 5 years. Thanks for all the thoughts and if you need us, you all know where to find us!

In other news: Daisy had her 6month appointment this week. She is 13lbs 12oz (10th percentile) and 26 1/2 inches long (50th-75th percentile). She is following the same growth curve! She has come down with a terrible cough, which the doctor said her lungs, ears and throat were all clear.....the bad news is she coughs so much she is throwing up! It has been a zoo around here the last few days. Otherwise the doctor thought Daisy looked great!

I feel like I have so much to catch everyone up on but the sleepless nights and the stress are catching up with me. I will post again soon.

Here are some really cute pictures of Daisy and Dudley. (Dudley is one of Luke's puppies which Luke is one of Daisy many boyfriends!)

Birthday Fun!

Well, I turned the big 28 yesterday. It was a great day. Last week my hubby sent me flowers at work, then yesterday he came home with a fabulous cake (see below) he knows how I love to feel special on my birthday. I had a really great day. Evan, Dara's son, came over for a very fun play date. It was a busy day keeping up with two little ones. Only once did they cry and want to be held at the same time. I just kept switching from one to the other--it wasn't working that well. I thought that this might be what it is like to have twins! So overall I had a wonderful birthday! Thanks for all the phone calls! Here are our latest pictures:

This is a new outfit from Aunt Jessica. She is just starting to wear some 3-6 month clothes! I think this outfit is so spring-ish I love it! Don't mind me in the pictures. Just because Daisy gets a bath and gets dressed, doesn't mean that mommy does!

This is our new favorite photo of Daisy. Chris and I have been 'purging' the house this last week to prepare just in case of a move later this year. So Daisy was sitting in her bobby just relaxin'. I think she is showing so much personality lately!
Daddy is 'reading' to Daisy. She was having such a good time as he was 'reading' a car magazine to her. Telling her the latest and greatest. This weekend I think we are heading to the car show at the fairgrounds! She will get to see and sit in all these cars her daddy has been telling her about!

Saturday we tried a top-knot again. It turned more into a top spike, but I think she looks so cute! Don't mind the snot running out of her nose. There is no stopping it lately and she HATES having her nose wiped. I used to think mom's who let their kids run around with snotting noses were crazy, now I am one of them!

Here are the pictures of Daisy and Evan playing together. They had a really good time!

Here is my fabulous birthday cake. It came from Maggie moo's. It is a Cotton Candy Ski jump ice cream cake, which consists of cotton candy ice cream(blue), mini M&M's, mini marshmallows, and marshmallow cream!!!! YUMMMY. I always get this ice cream when I am at Maggie Moo's so Chris had them make a cake out of it just for me! It is delicious. I love it how when I order this there are 3-4 kiddo's in there with the same ice cream---no adults, just me and the kiddos! It is really good I promise!

We head back to the doctor with Daisy in a couple weeks. I am really excited. (not about the shots of course). And I am heading to the store to buy some different foods for Daisy. A couple of my friends have suggested rice cereal with juice, so that is my next plan. I will keep you updated.
